My secret to happiness is to stay away from negative people and be around positive people. If you stay around positive people you will be more positive and happy. If you stay around negative people they will make you grumpy and negative.

Today I read If you're reading this it's to late. I can't quite tell yet what it's about but this kid is having weird dreams every night. And her wall in her room is covered in natural diastater articles and posters.

Daily Reflection
Today I:
- Direct Instruction math:
- Be on time and be prepared to meet with your math teacher. Being prepared means that you have a notebook, pencil, computer, head phones and charger with you when you get to your direct instruction lesson. Being on time means that your transition to the direct instruction group is two minutes or less.
- I also went to literature groups.

- Compass Learning:
- Complete 2 language arts lessons and 1 language arts extension lesson OR do your time4writing lessons. All grades must be 80% or higher.
- Complete 2 independent math lessons. All grades must be 80% or higher.
- Show a facilitator your backpack when you complete this. You may take a screenshot and email it to Ms. Amy at jdsamyh@gmail.com instead of checking in with a facilitator in person.

- Work on your "what is family?" group project-it is due on Thursday.
How I managed my time today: Today was a weird day today. I did not get that much done today because we went to pizza by the sea and we left a little bit early to go there.

Readers Response
Today, I read 39 clues. The book is about there grandmother dying and she gives them a choice to either take a lot of money or find the 39 clues to be the most important person in the world.

- How I managed my time today: Today I managed my time really good. I didn't talk to anyone and I didn't waste any time eating a snack or going to the bathroom.
- What I will do tomorrow: Tomorrow I hope to get done more stuff then just compass learning.

Reading Response
Today I read 39 Clues the Maze of Bones. It was a great book. basically it's about two kids trying to find 39 clues because there grandmother died and she said on the funeral video you can either have 100,000 dollars or you can go on a quest to find 39 clues.
