james and the giant peach

I am going to read James and the giant peach with Risdon. My 1st prediction is that James and the giant peach is that it is going to be about that James is poor and he Doesn't have food then he finds a huge peach and he eats it for a long time.My second prediction is that everyone gets mad at him because he won't share.

     What are the hedgehogs predators? One of the hedgehogs predators are the badger. When the badger see's a spiky ball it goes to the ball and pry's the hedgehogs ball open.Another predator is the fox. The fox only goes for the sick ones, baby's or just dead ones. Other predators that mostly unsuccessfully go for hedgehogs are polecats, and tawny owls. 

How big are the hedgehogs when they are born? They are only one inch and a half long. That is so little.When the hedgehogs are baby's they are called hoglets.

How big do they get? They can get up to 255 - 540 grams. here is a over weight hedgehog.The hedgehog will eat a lot too.

What does a hedgehog eat? They mostly eat insects like meal worms, crickets and wax worms. You can also find hedgehog food at major pet stores. If you can't find hedgehog food they will high quality cat food .

How to bath your hedgehog? Just run enough lukewarm (never hot or cold) just enough to reach the hedgehogs belly.When the hedgehog is more used to it run a little more water so he or she can swim.if you still see dirt that use a toothbrush (not yours) to brush it off.Never leave them unattended they could get out or worse drowned.
Make sure the hedgehog is completely dry before putting it in the cage. Each bath removes vital oils from their skin and may cause dry or flaky skin.  Bathe when soiled, smelly or in need of exercise.

     Ellee and I are going to build a homer Simpson sculpture made out of garbage.The reason why I think that would be cool to build is because we would be recycling and helping the earth. also I think it would be awesome to build homer Simpson.I really like working with trash. I also like to work with Ellee.

  We want to make it with trash and glue. We would like to use hot glue and super glue.We want to go to the dumpster and get supplies for homer like cans,old clothing and other trash for the inside.We are trying to make him almost look exactly the same.
 We were thinking of making it will be bigger than Mr.Randy so like 6 ft tall.We are going to make it for a month or less.We plan to dumpster dive in to other peoples dumpsters. We will first ask them if we can.

     What about the blue dumpy tree frog. The price at pet smart is $24.99.Basking lamps heat pads under tank (helps with humidity) You want to supply a hot and cool spot in the terrarium by setting the basking lamp on one side. They live up to 3 to 5 years.You can feed them: meal worms, silk worms, fruit flies, butter worms, crickets .
The babies need a 10 gallon tank but when the frog  grows up it will need a 20 gallon tank. They are most active during night.They are very good pets.You need branches for them to climb on. Also for ground peat moss.Males have darker feet than females.There size is 4.5 inches males shorter.

My goal is to read a lot today. I am reading huckleberry Finn. It's a really good book. I love this book.
